Hello everyone, it's been a while!! Today I got a visit from the Hearts for Horses Club. They came to our farm for a tour and to meet the other rescue horses. They were a great bunch. Thanks again Abby,Emma,Rachel,Nicole,Zoe,Lauren,Mackenzie, Maddie and Keeli for your donation to our rescue. We really appreciate it! See your photo below.

Hi everyone...it has been some time since I have checked in with you. Things have been very busy here on the farm. GIRL SCOUT TROOP #142

WOW !! What an exciting day ! Girl Scout Troop 142 came to our barn to earn their Horse Fan Badge. Brad read my book to them and asked if they would like to meet me. They seemed very excited and that just made my day. I got to come in and meet every single one of the girls. That was my first appearance in front of a big group and I was told that I did very well. I hope I get to do that more often. It is fun meeting all my fans !!

Trailer Practice

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I checked in. Things have been quiet here on the farm. I have been told that I will be visiting Newswatch 16 sometime in the near future along with my owners and friends to promote our new Kindred Spirits Horse Rescue. Soooo...we had trailer practice on Sunday because it has been some time since I have been on a trailer or left the farm.
I was more concerned about leaving my friends in the pasture, so Brad took his time working with me and eventually I calmed down. Also, the trailer looked a little scary at first , but Brad assured me that it was ok and after a short time I was walking aff and on with NO PROBLEM at all. IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE !!! Can't wait to see what they have in store for me next...

Well there is not much new here on the farm. The weather has not been very nice and we were stuck in the barn a few days last week. As you can see from my picture below I was pretty bored and ended up playing with my hay! Oh well, we went out today and although it was a little cold, it still felt good to kick up our heels for a while.

Dr. Suess Day

Well, today my owners, Brad and Lori and the illustrator of my book, Melissa, went to Lakeland Elementary School to read my book for Dr. Suess Day. They had a blast reading to the classes and especially meeting all the children. They tell me that when the weather warms up they are going to come and visit me at the farm. I can't wait to meet them all!!!
Hopefully that won't be too long since today is one of the warmest days that we had in a while and I am out in the field enjoying the sun with my friends, Melvin, Boli and Pistol.
